19th Century Tartu Citizen’s Museum
The museum is located in a wooden home that was built in 1740. The Citizen’s Museum displays the interior of a town citizen’s house and everyday life from the 1830s. The living room, dining room and gentleman’s study and bedroom are decorated in the typical German Biedermeier Style. The kitchen in the centre of the house creates a cosy atmosphere with its many household items and English stove that is in working order.
