A Day Trip to Matsalu National Park

In Lääne County, on both sides of Matsalu Bay, is Estonia's biggest conservation area. We will visit the Viita coastal meadows, take a boat ride among the Matsalu reeds in search of bird life, and then we will have a lunch at the local farm. The trip continues on the southern shores of the bay, where we will do a bit of birdwatching from the Keemu tower and get to know more about the local flora. The Salevere hiking trail in Salumäe provides a lot of interesting information about the local plants, animal life and the landscapes.
