One of the key elements of the Angla Windmill Hill complex is the Angla Heritage Culture Centre, which was opened in summer 2011. One of the materials used in its construction was local stone thought to be 425 million years old, containing coral, stromatoporoids and brachiopods. At the centre you can test your skills at traditional handicrafts, take part in heritage culture events and try Angla rye bread. The centre also teaches children the handicraft skills of their forbears.
