In 1999, Estonia's first garlic restaurant, Balthasar, was open in the very heart of the Old Town of Tallinn, Town Hall Square, in the building of Town Hall Drugstore. Balthasar immediately won numerous fans due its unique menu and interior. Wooden interior, characteristic of a medieval building and excellent renovation contribute to the aristocratic atmosphere of the building. An excellent view of the Town Hall Square opens from t he windows of the restaurant.
