A historical cobblestone road runs from Kihelkonna to Papissaare harbour; a boat captain will take your group to Vilsandi from there. This is a time to enjoy the views and take photos.
Then, you will travel at the back of a truck to a lighthouse, so you can enjoy the wonderful view of Vaika islands, where the preservation of nature in the Baltic countries began in 1910. You will learn how the first nature protection area was established in Estonia, and we will talk about the times when Vilsandi was a busy and active island of seamen and ship builders.
The coastal trip then takes you for a meal in a tourism farm; after lunch, you will travel on the truck back to the harbour and take a boat back to Saaremaa.
Comfortable hiking footwear and wind-proof clothing is essential.
