Café Maiasmokk

Maiasmokk is the oldest operating café anywhere in Tallinn and indeed Estonia – it has been in the same location since 1864. The café is unique due to its interior, which has remained unchanged for almost a century.

In this cosy café you can enjoy fresh pastries, pies and cakes, as well as delicious handmade candies. On the first floor of the café, you find a restaurant that serves delectable and novel Estonian meals.

There is a marzipan museum on the premises of the café, which provides a fascinating overview of the history of the treat. There is always an artist in the museum, decorating marzipan figures, and they will often take visitors' requests!
