Canoeing in Matsalu is a special experience as you paddle through the reeds, which are home for numerous species of birds and animals. By moving quietly you might even encounter a beaver, and hear a sound like blowing on a bottletop, which is the call of one the mysterious birds in the reeds – Bittern. This Estonian Nature Tours trip includes a visit to the Matsalu nature centre, supplies (canoes, paddles and life vests), instructions on how to canoe, the service of a guide, a picnic lunch and local logistics.
