Christmas Village at the Open Air Museum

Old drying barns and other farm houses will come out of hibernation for a few days and come alive with stories from the times of our ancestors. The Christmas Village will shed light on different periods in the history of the Estonian people. Joyous and sad stories will unravel against the backdrop of historical events.
You can buy the works of Estonian craftsmen at the small Christmas fair on the Sassi-Jaani farm. The Lau village shop will sell gifts that were popular in the first half of the 20th century shows and postcards. Concerts by various choirs will be performed in the Sutlepa Chapel. The Kolu Inn will offer traditional holiday meals.
