The Tartu Festival Arena is a concert place for up to 15,000 people. It was opened with the 125th Song Festival in 1994. Every year 20 big concerts take place here, for example Depeche Mode, Manhattan Transfer and José Carreras have performed here.

An activity centre has developed around the Festival Arena, with a park for kids, skatepark, sports park, health trails by the river and where you can rent sports equipment or celebrate children's birthdays. The hall in the Festival Arena can be rented for birthdays, seminars, choir rehearsals or dance training. A free skating rink is open in winter. Concerts are usually with tickets and entrance is for a fee.
