This exhibition showcases one of the most intriguing and nuanced facets of Japanese art: ink painting. Especially curated for the Adamson-Eric Museum in conjunction with the International Sumi-e Association, the exhibition looks at trends in the art and its forms of expression. Several Japanese artists who are members of the association will be presenting their work.
Alongside the exhibition, a book of haiku poetry will be released in spring 2013 in memory of Andres Ehin. The exhibition forms part of the Adamson-Eric Museum's ongoing series of projects shining the spotlight on classical forms of Japanese art.
