10 June 2009 Estonian Air started selling tickets on the Tartu-Stockholm route. Estonian Air will start operating between Tartu and Stockholm from 24 August 2009 four times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight time is one hour and 30 minutes.
"The Monday and Friday flights offer great opportunity to get to Tartu, both from Europe and from Swedish domestic flights. Sunday flights provide convenient connections from Tartu via Stockholm to for instance Milan, Vienna, Franfurt, Oslo and Berlin," said Rauno Parras, Estonian Air’s acting Vice President Commercial. "The flight on Thursday connects in Stockholm with many European destinations for both departing and arriving passengers," Parras added.
