In the Estonian Museum of Natural History, the Estonian nature is at your fingertips! Various things to explore and view are spread across three floors! Watch an exciting animation about the life of the Baltic Sea, an exhibition about the Siberian flying squirrel and the mysterious works of Peter Laurits. Take full advantage of our web-based audio guide, which you can listen to on your phone or tablet using a web browser (there is no need to download anything). The audio guide is available in Estonian, English and Russian.

Getting there

It is easy to get to us by public transport of Tallinn. The nearest stops are "Linnahall", "Põhja puiestee" and "Balti jaam", all of which are about a 5-minute walk away from the museum. The closest parking option is on Lai street. Parking in the Tallinn Old Town is charged around the clock based on the Old Town zone fee. There are also paid parking lots at Suurtüki 12 and Väike-Rannavärav 6.

Small but friendly.

Fairly small but staff very nice. Had a small selection of stuff animals and live fish. Good for little children. No English unless using audio option.

Wonderful museum

This what is says on the packet. Estonian Natural History , no big cats or dinosaurs. Just a fascinating insight into flora and fauna of Estonia. Spread over three floors there is a different theme...

Entry was free on thursday. 3 floors, each floor focus on a group of animals in each room. The museum is small. Small selection of souvenirs at the Ground floor.If you love nature or have small kids...
