Estonian Nature Tour

Despite its small size, Estonia is filled with ancient and breath-taking wilderness. Long ago, northern glaciers carved the landscape. Today, half the country is covered in forests, while five national parks and numerous nature reserves make up another fifth of Estonia’s land area. Rare animals like bears, wolves and lynx inhabit forests with arctic birds passing through on their annual migration. Mysterious bogs and mires have inspired folklore for centuries. Over 2,000 islands line Estonia’s Baltic seashore, home to Kaali meteorite craters and soaring limestone cliffs.
