Garlic restaurant Balthasar

Estonia's first garlic restaurant, Balthasar, is located in the very heart of the Old Town of Tallinn, Town Hall Square, in the building of Town Hall Pharmacy; it was named after the famous chronicler Balthasar Russow who used to live in this building. The Town Hall Pharmacy is also the home of the oldest operational pharmacy in Europe, which has been open since 1422. An excellent view of the Town Hall Square is afforded by the windows of the restaurant.
Due to its peculiar menu and interior, Balthasar has become a popular restaurant among locals. Starting from appetizers and ending with desserts, you can pick between various levels of intensity of garlic flavour.
