See photos (6) You can discover the Onion Route in several ways: by car, by bike, or on foot, but why not take a boat instead? You can choose between one-day or multi-day trips. We offer a variety of special boat routes starting from the Mesi Tare in Varnja, where we will take small fishing boats. The host of Mesi Tare will come along to instruct the ride. In the other boats, you can be the captain yourself!
We will explore the Old Believers’ villages while rowing along Lake Peipus and cruise along the shore and dock in tiny canals to visit different attractions on the shore: the Voronja Gallery, the Kolkja Museum, the Peipsimaa Visitor Centre, and much more.
