This year’s “Tallinn Guitar Festival” programme is full of vitality. For seven summer evenings sounds from North and South America, the Mediterranean and Nordic region will fill the city.

Headlining the festival, now in its eighth year, are the world's leading guitarists; Grammy award winning US composer and guitar legend Andrew York, leading British group Aquarelle Guitar Quartet and Canadian virtuoso Remi Boucher.
Andrew York will give a concert on June 11 at the Kumu Auditorium. The York repertoire spans the main forms of World guitar music.
The festival’s second head-line act, the Aquarelle Guitar Quarter from England will give a concert at the House of Brotherhood of Black Heads on June 13. The quartet's concerts are full of the languid, vital, romance and passion of Hispanic and Brazilian music which, as always, is infectious for the general public. The quartet has released four highly-regarded albums.
The festival's third head-line act, Remi Boucher is an exceptionally able guitar virtuoso, whose concerts are spoken of in superlatives by both public and critics. He is considered one of the greatest, all-time geniuses in the world of guitar. Through Boucher's playing, the limits of the guitar are lost as the instrument achieves the dimensions of an orchestra. Remi Boucher will perform at the House of Brotherhood of Black Head's on June 14.
