See photos (11) The skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks in Haanja are suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike.
The skiing tracks are 1 km, 2 km, 3 km and 5 km long. By the stadium there is also a sledding slope which kids and adults will love. Lit skiing tracks run for 2 km and 3.2 km and are open until 21:00.
Next to the recreation centre is a shooting range for biathlon lovers. The centre also rents skis, has changing facilities and a sauna, and a cafe for those looking to recharge their batteries. Outside of the skiing season the tracks in Haanja are ideal for cycling and hiking.
Drive around 12 km from the outskirts of Võru towards Haanja. When you arrive in the village of Haanja turn off to the right towards Rõuge. Drive on for another 200 metres and turn left into the car park of the recreation centre.
