REQUEST INFORMATION View on map

Coming to Elva gives you the unique opportunity to see Hellenurme Watermill, the last watermill in Estonia still producing flour and various other grain products.
Upon arrival, the miller starts the turbines of the watermill. The miller’s wife then begins her lesson on combining the flour, water, and bread starter into a dough and baking bread in a bread oven. Over a quick break, you can also enjoy a cup of tea and listen to the wisdom of Estonian foremothers before finally taking home the warm bread you just made.
