The beach and vacation areas with their charming nature have always been the attractions of the eastern coast of Pärnu Bay. Both locals and holiday-makers from afar love the beaches Valgerand and Matsi, both covered with white sand and protected from the north wind by pines. You can enjoy a view of the bog from the observation tower at the Lindi Nature Conservation Area. Tõstamaa and Pootsi manors add a bit of history and culture to the air. The latter tempts visitors with its famous rug workshop. The village churches in the area are also interesting sights, as the buildings have been influenced by the Coastal Swedes.
