Võsu

Võsu is a beautiful beach village in Lahemaa National Park.

It is one of the oldest summer resorts in North Estonia, founded in the 19th century. Back in those times it used to be a well-known holiday place for many prominent people from Tallinn, Tartu, St Petersburg and Moscow.

Võsu has a beautiful 3 km long beach area with a belt of dunes behind it. Families love its sandy sea bottom and warmer than average water.

Whether you’re a windsurfer, a family with little children or somebody who just enjoys sunbathing and swimming - Võsu beach has something for you.

It’s a great location for swimming, sailing, windsurfing, sunbathing, playing beach volleyball and football.

You can have a wonderful day out enjoying nature vVõsu makes an excellent shorter stopping point on a coastal tour.

The manors of Palmse, Sagadi and Vihula, ruins of Toolse Order Castle, old Altja fishing village and Käsmu Village are all a short distance away.
