Kiideva village situates in Läänemaa in Ridala municipality on the North-West shore of Matsalu gulf. Kiideva was known as fishers' village already in 16th-17th centuries, the village was the most important fishing centre of Läänemaa. Nowadays it has 64 farms.
Interesting to know: Museum building is a former summer house of milk factory. Here you can see century old fishing instruments and everyday utility articles. All exhibits originate from local families, like that were furnished kitchens, workshops and bedrooms. It is advisable to agree the visit to the museum beforehand.
