The House of the Brotherhood of Blackheads is one of the oldest and most noble complexes of buildings in the Old Town of Tallinn. Its most significant rooms are the White Hall (constructed in 1532), the first to be built in Renaissance style in Tallinn, and the Olav Hall, in late Gothic style. The long history of the brotherhood has given rise to legends of saints, soldiers and swashbucklers, which are primarily reflected today in the names of the rooms.
