Hullav Naine pub

This pub, in the centre of Põltsamaa, has seating for up to 80 people. Its interior is adorned with artist Erki Evestus' take on Estonian women - which is where the pub gets its name from.

    Great place to stop when driving through Põltsamaa. Good service, good value for money and surprisingly good food.

    Better to avoid

    We went to this pub with my friends yesterday who were visiting Põltsamaa for the first time and I felt very sorry for having brought them here! The pork meat at the day dish was kind of eatable but...

    Quality consistency needs to be checked.

    Thick soup was fine as it should always be. My pork schnitzel was a bit overcooked, but other than that ok. The beef schnitlez was overcooked and dry. The tables were dirty. Pricing for four people...

Getting there

Turn off towards Põltsamaa where the Tallinn-Tartu highway crosses the Jõgeva-Põltsamaa road. Drive on a further 800 metres until you see the Selver supermarket on your left, then turn right, and then left again - and you're here! We are situated just 3 km from the home of village elder Carl Schmidt.
