Kalevipoeg museum has a total of 11 rooms open for visitors. The epic of Kalevipoeg as well as places related to its legends are introduced in two rooms. Other rooms have their own themes: the Red Room displays items from the Soviet era; Education room introduces history of Saare School, etc. Local history rooms have very old pieces on display. There is also a room for study materials, study tools, a "holding cell" and a handicraft room; also, an EW (First Republic of Estonia - Eesti Wabariik) and an EV (Second/current Republic of Estonia - Eesti Vabariik) Room. The main theme of the museum is introducing the national epic of Estonia; a tour guide can be booked to give you a lecture on the subject. However, feel free to ask about other topics as well.
