Kärdla-Tõrvanina hiking trail

Running along the Kärdla seacoast and through the coastal forests of Tõrvanina, this hiking trail starts in Kärdla at the end of Tiigi Street and is close to 7 km in length; crossing over a diverse and varied landscape.

Covering an expanse of forest types prevalent in the area, the Kärdla-Tõrvanina trek includes wet and dry wooded environments and offers a unique chance to visit paludified areas.

This walk through the borderland of sea and forest can trigger many emotions as it constantly alternates between closed and open landscapes. Marked with signposts and information boards, the trail also has three places for bonfires, two observation platforms and a boardwalk over the wetter spots of the trail.

In the summertime this trail can be completed without getting your feet wet!
