See photos (16) Kau Manor was first mentioned in the Danish Valuation Book in 1241, when a medieval vassal fortress was built. The classicist appearance of the complex-shaped main building of the manor, which has survived to this day thanks to reconstruction, dates back to the 18th century.
Kau Manor was home to the world-famous explorer and navigator Otto von Kotzebue. The interior design of the main building is inspired by Kotzebue's travels around the world.
The manor houses a boutique hotel with a wonderful interior design, a wine cellar, a cigar room, a restaurant, and a library. Here, you can celebrate special anniversaries in a grand and elegant environment.

When coming from Tallinn, drive on the Tallinn–Tartu highway until Kose-Risti. Turn right from Kose-Risti and drive to Ojasoo, where you will see a sign that reads ‘Kõue-Triigi mõis’. Turn left and drive straight. Kau manor is located in the Triigi village. When coming from Tartu, take a left turn after Ardu. There is a sign that reads ‘Kõue-Triigi mõis’, which will lead you to us.
