In 1833 one of the earliest and most stylish Neo-Gothic manor houses in Estonia was completed in Keila-Joa. The two-storeyed flat-roofed building is characterised by sharp arched windows of frequent frame partition and a tower with a crenelated balustrade located in the back side corner. Today you can see the non-renovated manor only from outside.
Interesting to know: - A lot of high and famous guests have visited Keila-Joa Manor. The most famous of these was the Russian Tsar Nicholas. - according to a legend, inspired by the beautiful nature the melody of the hymn of the Tsardom of Russia “God Save the Tsar” was also composed here.
