Chimes at St John's Church in Viljandi

At St John's Church in Viljandi, the biggest chime in Estonia, made by 25 bells, can be heard.
The bells were manufactured at the Royal Eijsbouts bell foundry in the Netherlands and they have been ringing since the International Hanseatic Days were held in Viljandi in 2015.
The chimes can be heard every day from Monday to Sunday at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m.
*On Sundays, the beautiful music is played at 9.45 a.m. instead of 9 a.m.
Marko Tiitus, the minister of the St. John's congregation in Viljandi, wishes that the sound of bells ringing at the church tower would help people to leave their bad words unsaid and irreversible acts undone.
The beautiful music has become a favourite attraction for both the city residents and visitors.
