Lindora Fair is held every year on 28 October. It unites the people from three south-eastern Estonian municipalities – Vastseliina, Meremäe and Lasva – as well as visitors from all over the country and around the world.
Those who are looking to sell something are welcome to sell them at the fair; those looking to buy something are welcome to do so, too – and so is anyone who is simply looking to meet others and have a good chinwag!
Originally, the only ‘goods’ bought and sold at the fair were farm and other domesticated animals. Today, however, all sorts of things can be found here – from industrial goods to handicrafts and fresh garden produce.
A unique cultural programme has become part of the fair tradition, featuring performers from the local area and beyond.
