See photos (7) The museum is located in the building of the former parish school that was built in the 19thC. The exposition introduces the rich cultural heritage of the Väike-Maarja parish. Väike-Maarja is the birthplace of Georg Lurich and Alar Kotli. Anton Hansen Tammsaare and Tuudur Vettik studied here. There is also a unique exhibition devoted to the history of the Väike-Maarja Kolkhoz from the establishment of this collective farm to its dissolution.
