There are many theatre festivals in Estonia. "Monomaffia" is different in that it focuses on the actor as the central figure in the theatre without whom there would be no theatre. The monologues allow for intimate and special contact between the actor and the audience. As the actor has no partners on stage, the audience plays a particularly important role in creating synergy. The actor has nowhere to hide, all eyes are on him or her and the details through which the role evolves and the story unfolds.
