The rooms in the cosy and old-fashioned Baltic Hotel Imperial are unique and luxuriously furnished. The building was built in 1877 and attached to the medieval city wall, which was a common practice at the time.
The large medieval fireplace and parts of the city wall in the cellar give testimony to the old age of the building. The building has not been extensively renovated; instead an attempt has been made to preserve everything that is historically valuable.
