The Estonian Maritime Museum is located in Fat Margaret, an old cannon tower. Its exhibition provides an excellent overview of Estonia as a maritime country. Over four floors you will see a variety of items related to the sea – old-fashioned diving and fishing equipment, various items found on the sea bed, maritime charts and more. The museum also has a remarkable collection of model ships, from old sailing boats to modern submarines. We also allow braver visitors onto the roof to enjoy the view of the Old Town and the sea.
No, I didn't visit them all. But...the Maritime Museum is really a fine museum. Even if you are not a maritime buff you will find this very informative. They've gone to great lengths to make it...
Was originally a gun fort that has been restored to a museum. Lots to see and learn and the view is pretty good at the top. Worth a visit.
This museum is very good. It is for everyone including families with children. It is 3 levels and is inside of "Fat Margaret" tower. I would recommend for anyone who is interested in maritime history.
