Kalev Marzipan Museum Room

The Marzipan Museum Room gives a good overview of the history of marzipan — how a medicine, made in the pharmacy during the Middle Ages, became a popular candy later. There are 200 marzipan figurines, cards and cakes on display, which are made using molds that are more than a hundred years old. Here you can watch the art of painting marzipan: an artist works at the museum room, painting marzipan figures just as the guests wish.

Researcher Otto Kubo, who has worked for Kalev for 60 years, can tell interesting stories about marzipan and its history to visitors at the museum room.
