Rotermann Market

Since this summer a genuine market of Estonian food is located in the square of the Rotermann Quarters. The market is a place where the city people who do not have a granny living in the country can buy local food from farmers who do not have any marketing possibilities.
The goods sold at the market are domestic, originating from different farms and production units all over Estonia. There are meat and fish products, bakery and dairy products and different fruits and vegetables sold at the market. The open market with up to 20 counters also sells domestic organic production. The choice of goods ranges from mutton to onion and from smoked fish to home-baked bread. At the market it is also possible to find food that can be consumed on the spot. There is a good possibility to have a picnic in the square and next to it.
