See photos (5) When you go to Kõpu from Sõru, you will discover a new side of Hiiu County. The sandy beaches of Tohvri and Prähnu turn into the wilder Vanajõgi Valley and on the other side of the highway, you will find the hidden lakes of Tihu, which even some of the locals have not seen. On the Kõpu peninsula, the landscape becomes more mountainous and you will reach the highest point of western Estonia, where the Kõpu lighthouse is also situated. The 500-year-old lighthouse is the oldest still operating lighthouse in the world.
