The Okaskroon (‘crown of thorns’) monument was erected in 1991 in remembrance of those deported from Rakvere to Siberia. It was designed by A. Murdmaa.

Huge monument

Huge monument in a place you can see from down the hill. Nice spot to sit in the night and have a beer.

castle was nice but the relevance of the bull?

castle was nice but the relevance of the bull? Did not really get the relevance of this statue. A lot of Estonian kids though were photographed under this sight.
