The Olustvere wool and handicraft workshop is located in the manor's old well building. During the manor's heyday it was here that its most important workers - the smiths and masters - resided. The building, which is of great architectural interest, has gone by a number of names, including the well building, since it is situated near the manor's well, and the balcony building, since looking from the smithy you see the building's balcony. Visiting the workshop today you can try your hand at dyeing wool and knitting fabrics. There is also a display of items associated with handicrafts.
