Dirhami is mainly a fishing and cargo port. In winter it is one of the few ice-free ports in the west of Estonia. There is a floating berth for 20 guest yachts and a passport and customs inspection post. The port is well-protected from storms, and entering may be more difficult in case of north and north-east wind.
