Roela Cone Hut Museum is an exciting place to visit to learn about the history of Estonian forestry.

The cone hut is located on the edge Mõdriku–Roela esker, Estonia’s longest esker. There is a section of the State Forest Management Centre’s Penijõe–Aegviidu–Kauksi hiking trail along the esker, where you can enjoy peace and quiet in the forest and learn about the local heritage culture.

There is a State Forest Management Centre’s information point in the museum, where you can find useful information about the recreational opportunities and places of interest both in the immediate vicinity and in the state forest further away. You can order a forest and heritage programme or explore the beautiful nature yourself.
