Good to know: The building was built in 1915; it was designed by Artur Perna from Tallinn and owned by Anton Pedriks, the first Estonian mayor of Rakvere. Initially, the building was designed to be a semi-detached house; later, it housed the post and telegraph office. The building and its modest exterior hid well-preserved rooms with a grandiose flare.
