Saare Värava cafe

This cafe, known as 'the island gateway', is located in the harbour building in Virtsu. Despite the fact that the building is brand new, the cafe and waiting area retain the feel of the old Virtsu harbour building. Indeed, it still has some of its massive old benches - which have played host to quite a few islanders forced to wait out a storm for the following morning's ferry. The cafe's menu includes pastries and buns as well as soups and main meals.
