Sagadi Forest Museum

Sagadi manor complex includes the Sagadi Forest Museum, which displays things connected with Estonian forests and forestry, including hunting, woodwork and the environment. Here you can see both traditional and modern ways of working in the forest, tools used for planting, measuring and cutting trees, hunting trophies, mushrooms, and insects; you can notice the interrelationship of the biota of the forest and much more.

    Good with kids

    The exhibition was interesting for kids, as we do not live in Europe the kids liked the insect and butterfly sections. Kids enjoyed the first floor butterfly puzzle in the kids corner.

    Interesting museum

    This museum is well displayed. It gives good information about the forest and how wood is used in many different ways . There are all sorts of stuffed forest animals, including a bear! Don't think...
