Kauksi camping area is on the north shore of Lake Peipus close to the very popular Kauksi beach. There is a car park for 30-40 cars and further parking for up to 50 cars by the barbecue areas. The camping area has a total of 50 barbecue sites, 20 shelters, 3 wells, 4 outdoor toilets, a viewing platform and information stands. Camping is free, and you only need to pay a one-off fee to park in the camping area. Firewood can be bought from the information building, which is by the road leading to the camping area.
