This snowshoe hike around Lake Veskijärv in Nõva takes you directly across the soft, quaggy ground of the surrounding bog. It may sound scary, but it's hugely exciting! On the way back we slip off our snowshoes and make our way across former sand dunes before ascending to the highest point in north-western Estonia. You also get to see how the landscape looks and how nature bounces back after bushfires. The hike starts from the State Forest Management Centre site next to Lake Veskijärv.
