Come and enjoy being out and about in nature and the chance to don showshoes and take yourself to places which otherwise would be almost impossible to access! Snowshoe hiking through Koitjärve bog gives you the opportunity to discover Koitjärve village and its marshlands, which are intimately connected to the work of famous Estonian author A. H. Tammsaare. Many years were spent by the writer at nearby Oru farm. It is thought that the area inspired him in the penning of his greatest work, 'Truth and Justice'. The hike lasts ca 5-6 hours and includes basic snowshoe training, the services of a guide, showshoe supplies and a packed lunch.
