In the Museum of Occupations you'll get a thorough overview of the Soviet occupation of Estonia. Be sure to also visit the Bronze Soldier, which caused a lot of media hype, in its new location at the Defence Forces Cemetery of Tallinn. 

In the Prison of Patarei you can visit the rooms of the prison, which operated during Soviet time. The museum is open to guests during summer, visits with a guide can be organised at other times.
