Suitsu Hiking Trail and Viewing Tower

This is a boardwalk which has its beginning by the 21-metre high viewing tower. On your journey you will see reeds, forests, flooded meadows and old fishermens’ huts. It is most interesting to go hiking either in the early morning or late in the evening as the animals are most active at these times. You might see roe deer, elk and wild boar. You might hear the Eurasian eagle-owl, Eurasian woodcock and Eurasian bittern.
Good to know: The length of the trail is 850 metres, you should allow yourself 30 minutes. The boardwalk is usually dry, but at the time of floods it might be wet and then you should take along your rubber boots.
