What is it?
This is a special board with which you can move on water standing up, on your hands and knees or lying on your stomach, using paddles or your hands.
As this equipment is expensive, you can try SUP only in two places in Estonia at the moment: one place by the sea and the other by us, in the Kiidjärve-Taevaskoja recreational area in Põlvamaa.
With SUP you'll get an entirely different experience of the picturesque nature of Ahja River, as you would by canoeing, kayaking or rowing.
SUP is suitable for both beginners and advanced paddlers.

BOOKIt's 36 km from Tartu to Kassiorg. You have to turn off the Tartu-Põlva road on the Koorvere crossing, where a signpost guides towards Kassioru Puhkemaja. Then you have to drive 4 km on the hard-surface road, until you see the old vodka brewery with a high chimney on the right. Turn left from there and drive the final 700 metres to the holiday house.
