Sviby-Rumpo Hiking Trail

The 6-kilometre long trail running along the south coast of Vormsi from Sviby to the furthest point of Rumpo peninsula goes through vast coastal meadows. Meadows are entwined with juniper shrublands, forests and patches of reed. The trail will give an overview of the natural resources of the coastal areas and of the ways these areas are run. When in Rumpo peninsula, you may find rare lichens originating from tundras, steppes and Mediterranean regions.
Good to know: The hiking trail is suitable for both walking and cycling. During wet periods take along your rubber boots. A binocular is of great assistance. You should allow yourself about 3 hours. The trail is partly an earth-track. There are information boards, 3 viewing platforms and two rest areas.
